Raspberry Banana Overnight Oats

Raspberry Banana Overnight Oats

Ever have one of those hectic mornings that makes you skip breakfast? When that happens to me it tends to throw off my entire day of eating and sets me in a tailspin of bad food decisions for the rest of the day.  Thankfully, it’s possible to prepare breakfast ahead of time to stop the domino effect of bad choices.

Overnight Oats are a great way to start the day, packed with antioxidants, cholesterol lowering fiber, Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and vitamins.  Once you have your base of oats, chia seed and nut milk, you can add in whatever you’d like!  Fresh fruit and a little real maple syrup for added sweetness are my go to, but the possibilities are endless.   Overnight Oats can be prepared the night before, or up to a week before you plan to eat.  Below is just one example of the many combinations I’ve tried….  Now there is no reason to skip breakfast!

  • Love this! Thank you! I’ve been wanting to do more overnight oats for me and the girls!

  • Question… do you then eats the oats cold or warm them up? If you warm them, what is your suggestion on how to warm it for the best taste?

    • Overnight Oats are usually eaten cold. I know it’s much different from eating the normal hot oatmeal, but a delicious change of pace!
